The Civil Services Examination is one of the most challenging examination in the country. Clearing this exam successfully is an achievement in its own. The exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission through a very long process stretching around one year.
Cracking UPSC Civil Service Examination is not an easy job. Many people spend some precious years of their life in preparing for this exam. However, there exist some aspirants who have cleared this exam in a very young age, in their first attempt.

1. Ansar Shaikh : The Youngest IAS Officer of India Till Date
The young lad, Ansar Shaikh is the son of a Rickshaw driver in the drought prone village of Shelgaon in Jalna District of Marathwada in Maharashtra. He cleared the e UPSC CSE 2016 with Rank 361.
He was just 21 years old at that time. Thus, he became the youngest IAS officer of India.
Currently, he is serving as the Officer on Special Duty at department of MSME and Textiles, Government of West Bengal.
2. Roman Saini: Cracked UPSC CSE 2013 with AIR 18
Many among you have heard the name of Roman Saini. He was the youngest IAS officer before Ansar Shaikh cracked UPSC. He became an IAS officer at the age of 22.
He was a doctor and cleared UPSC CSE 2013 with All India Rank 18. He was serving as an Assistant collector in Madhya Pradesh but he resigned from the job during his mid-training to work upon his initiative Unacademy to provide free education but it is no longer completely free.
3. IAS Swati Meena Naik: Cleared UPSC CSE 2007
IAS Swati Meena Naik is a 2008 batch Madhya Pradesh Cadre IAS officer. She is one of the youngest IAS officer.
She secured All India Rank 260 in the Civil Services Examination of 2007. She was just 22 years old at that time.
Swati is currently serving in the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative marketing Federation. She comes from Sikar, Rajasthan.
4. Amrutesh Aurangabadkar: Cleared UPSC CSE when he was just 22 years old.
He cleared UPSC CSE 2011 with AIR 10. He achieved this thing when he was only 22 years old.
He is a 2012 batch IAS Officer of Gujrat Cadre.
He comes from Maharashtra’s Pune and currently serving as Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Vadodara, Government of Gujarat.
5. Ankur Garg: UPSC CSE 2002 Topper
Ankur Garg secured AIR 1 in UPSC CSE 2002. He was just 22 years old at that time and recreated history as he was the youngest one to reach this fate.
The IIT Delhi graduate is presently completing his 2 years masters program from one of the most recognised university of the world, Harvard University.
